Did you ever have one of those dreams where you walked around in your own world drawing all over everything with a permanent marker? You scratched out the things you didn’t like, you added circles around things you wanted to remember, tossed in a few arrows pointing to things you wanted attention drawn to… or maybe I’m the only one. Nonetheless, Skitch is now available for the iPad and the functionality is somewhat similar.
Using shapes, arrows, sketches and text annotation you can leave your mark on photos, screenshots, maps, and webpages in any way that suits your needs and purposes!
I can’t tell you how many meetings I have been in where this app would have come in handy. Working on project plans for software developments and websites it is so nice to be able to just sketch on top of images and other documents so you can brainstorm at the speed of thought without losing time by writing notes that can be deciphered well enough later or trying to explain a graphical concept on a notepad to be interpreted by graphic designers or other developers once you get back to the proverbial drawing board.
Normally I am printing screenshots which just don’t translate well. Enter Skitch.
Whether you use it to “sketch and share” or use the functionality to give a presentation (project it to the big screen using AirPlay for everybody in the room to see easily) it is a great way to visually get your point across.
Or how about the next time you wrap up a meeting and an out-of-towner asks how he will find the restaurant where you are all meeting for supper? Pull up a map and draw a path, circle the best parking lot to park in, use an arrow to point to the nearest bank machine… you get the idea.

Full integration with Evernote is the icing-on-the-cake with this app making it easier than ever to share your ideas and creations.
