The strangest story but queer though it is, Running Sheep HD has the potential to be a big hit. Anything that has a weird plot will have a following. The story opens up with sheep being sucked up into the sky and waking up in a strange world. For some reason, the sheep black out and appear as having escaped the strangling light beam. Now they find themselves in space on a spaceship speeding through galactic darkness. Weird, right?
However, it gets weirder once the game proper starts. Suddenly bits and pieces of the state of mind of the sheep start to unravel and they just become incoherent, bumbling animals. Help! They’re in some state of stupidity and you have to help them out. And finally, here’s where the game starts. Work the platforms so the sheep can hop over to teleports and find their way home. The trick in the game is getting the sheep to hop to right platform and to have a strategy on how to arrange the platforms so they don’t fall off or end up being killed by aliens. To win you have to finish all 61 levels and pass through 3 bosses and multiple obstacles. Loads of fun and challenges for a download price of $2.99.
