Machinarium

An exclusive game for iPad 2, Machinarium is an adventure game which requires you to wear headphones. It was created by independent developers, the same who made Samorost and the sequel, Samorost 2. This new game is about a robot who ends up in the scrap yard as junk. Except this little guy refuses to be considered junk. He wants to reunite with his girlfriend robot who is in dire danger of being shut down.
It did have a few bugs when it was first launched but this has been ironed out quite well. Now, it’s back, fixed, and turning on the heat with its incredible ingenuity. While the characters are robots, the manner that they talk, walk and act is unlike what you would expect from a robot. It’s a little like the animated movie, Wall-e which showed in 2008. What a surprise, this game first came out in 2009. Is this a coincidence? If you liked the movie, then you will like the game. Download for $4.99.
