Test Your Sight with Hidden Object Crosswords HD – iPad Game Review

Do you like the seek-and-find style games that test your eyes instead of the reflexes most games need? Hidden Object Crosswords HD is the kind of app that intersects challenge with addiction! In order to solve the crossword, you have to read the given clue and view the corresponding scene to sleuth out the answer.
It seems like it should be easy with the availability of visual cues but I can assure you it isn’t! For those of you who love crosswords, this gives an added dimension that you won’t be able to resist!

The clues can be nearly anything. Many are references to pop culture while others need you to bend your mind around a puzzle or riddle to get the answer. When you have earned it (by collecting fireflies in the game) you can get a hint that will help you to solve the current clue, but if you are like me you will see this as cheating and deny yourself the opportunity!
Curl up on the couch with your coffee because the full game has more than 50 levels which should keep you busy for at least the next 50 Sundays, right?

What I liked: I love games that challenge my brain; I am very competitive, especially with myself!

What I didn’t like: Even though the app is being advertised as free you will need to pay $1.99 to unlock more than just the first few puzzles. The good thing is that you get the chance to really test-drive the app and get good and addicted before you commit to buying more.

To buy or not to buy: If you like crosswords and you want something with a bit more meat to it than the usual word game has, give it a download quickly while it’s still free and try it out!
