Castle Clout HD
Do you like this story?
If you know what clout means then you will want this iPad game. It’s all about who’s got it and who wants it most. Set in medieval times, you need to take over land and strongholds using whatever weapons you can get your hands on so that you have the most clout. Castle Clout HD is like a poor version of Monopoly where you just try to accumulate wealth and power. It’s got nothing more even with the 150 levels.
Even the execution is starving for more attention and controls are iffy because it’s too easy. You do get 6 characters but since they don’t have much depth, you’ll likely be switching characters to stay interested in the game.
Bottom line: good for young kids but boring for adults unless you’re into casual gaming. No, make that very casual, very stress-less game with quite a bit of bugs that need to be threshed out. For $1.99, there are better choices unless you’re into giving in to medieval games with or without a punch.
