New iPad Compatible, Energy-Saving USB Wall Outlets now Available

If you own a phone, a computer, an iPad, and other electronic devices, you know how hard it can be to find sufficient plug space for all of the AC adapters. Luckily, many of our devices can be charged through USB, and there are a few great solutions out there that allow you to charge multiple devices at once without taking up a lot of room.

CurrentWerks, known for its power storage and charging devices, has just released two new energy-saving USB wall outlets, the Duo and the Quattro, which allow you to charge several USB powered devices at one time.

The Duo adds two USB ports with 16W of power to any standard 110V wall outlet. It is universal and supports both 15A and 20A wall receptacles. The Quattro is similar, but it has four USB ports instead of two, with a combined output of 22W, and fits in a standard wall gang box. The Quattro is a great energy saver too, and completely eliminates standby power.

With 2.1 amps per port, both the Quattro and the Duo are some of the most powerful energy saving devices on the market, but they output enough power to quickly charge iPads, iPhones, smartphones, game controllers, and other power-hungry devices. Both versions come in several different colors, so they’re sure to fit in with your decor.

The Duo and the Quattro are currently for sale on the CurrentWerks website, and can be purchased for $24.98 and $39.98, respectively. The Quattro is currently shipping, and the Duo will be shipping in mid-February.
