Need a Last Minute Gift Idea? How About a Little Something from Apple’s Online Store
Do you like this story?
Apple has just extended their free shipping offer to 2-3 business day shipping. Uncle Bob will be so happy to have such a fashionable cover for his new toy.
Last month, Apple announced that it would waive the $50 minimum purchase for free standard shipping within the U.S. for orders placed online through December 22. Today, Apple has announced that it has upgraded to 2 business day shipping. That means, if you order an iWatchz Q Series watchband for your 6th gen iPod nano today, you’ll get it by Thursday or Friday. You can have a host gift for your first holiday party this weekend.
Shoppers don’t even get to choose between standard and 2 business day shipping. When you are ready to check out, the shipping options are either 2 business day or next day delivery. Nex day delivery costs $16. Due to demand and custom order issues, some products have already missed their deadline for Christmas delivery. For example, the iPhone 4s takes about two weeks to process and would have had to be ordered by December 5 in order to be delivered to your door before Santa’s arrival. Most items will need to be ordered by December 19 in order to have it delivered by the 24th. So start filling those stockings today and be the bell of the ball with your new iPad on Saturday.
