Samsung is getting into the CES spirit, with official product releases being sent out by the Korean giant at regular intervals.
Last week we were treated to news of the release of both the WB700 compact camera and the i-Function NX11.
And now it's the turn of the camcorder to get in on the launch fun, with the announcement of the HMX-Q10 - a Full HD personal cam with the world's first switch grip that allows you to operate the device with either hand and still have full control.
The BSI CMOS sensor captures footage at 1920 x 1080/60i full HD and there's a OIS Duo system to keep your movies steady despite your shaky-hand.
The HMX-Q10 also has Smart Auto features, meaning that it will adapt to its surroundings and it can also grab photos with its 4.9-megapixel stills feature. There's face detection on board, auto-focus, smart record pause, a flip shooting option and HD time lapse recording too.

"For example, we have developed the world’s first Switch Grip so that the HMX-Q10 adapts to the consumer’s lifestyle and setting - not the other way around".
"In addition to this, Easy Operation via the LCD and Smart Access UI takes the confusion out of recording, so that you can instantly record brilliant movies from the very first time you pick up the camcorder without the need for an instruction manual".
Available in March, the price of the Samsung HMX-Q10 is still to be confirmed.
