iPad HD to be the iPad 2 Pro: Released Before the iPad 3

If the latest iPad 3 rumors are to be true, there will be an iPad HD released before the iPad 3. According to these rumors circulating the web right now, the iPad HD will accompany the iPad 2 on the market and serve as a higher end device for the serious tablet guru.
Originally Apple was rumored to be releasing an iPad 2 Plus before seeing the iPad 3 later in 2012. Rumors are now claiming that the iPad HD will reach the market before the iPad 3 and have offered some information on exactly what this device intends to do.

iPad HD to Accommodate the High-End Media User

Speculation is suggesting that the iPad HD will be announced alongside Apple’s latest iPhone and then full scale production and a release date shortly thereafter. Apple is said to be gearing the iPad HD to mimic the relationship between the MacBook and the MacBook Pro.
The MacBook laptop is for the average user while the Pro caters to those interested in more power and graphical and video editing. As it stands now the iPad HD will be gunning for those who need a far more powerful digital media tablet.

Will the iPad HD Affect the iPad 3 Release Date?

iOS 5 is expected to reach its audience in September which means these two devices should be released at the same time as well sporting the highly anticipated operating system. We believe that Apple will be saving some exciting features on iOS 5 exclusively for the iPad HD and if not, definitely the iPad 3. If the iPad 3 is still slated for a 2012 release date then there will be time for re-working, updates and enhanced features for iOS 5 by the time it graces the iPad 3.
There’s no word on a price yet for this high end tablet called the iPad HD, but if it’s going to be superior to that of the 64GB iPad 2 well then it would likely exceed the $829 price which is currently what it costs for that tablet.
If that’s the case then it probably won’t fit into the general audience’s price range, but that’s not what it’s for anyways. The iPad HD rather is a high end graphical and editing powerhouse so your best interest is to hold off for the iPad 3 if you don’t require those features and advanced specs.
