This is an insane game because it’s so close to home. How often have we had to stand line waiting for food in a fast food restaurant or even the local Starbucks? Now imagine playing a game where you’re on the other side of the counter and nitpicking, irritating customers are fast getting hungry and antsy. You should know the feeling having been a customer also.
Hunger Calls HD has a great concept but somehow misses the mark and comes up with an average game. It’s not bad and the time pressure should be good enough to carry the game through to the end. Most definitely, not a game you would dump after a few level. This one has 39 levels which you can play at your leisure. There are power-ups and a way of improving recipes so customers come back. You do get the challenging (to put it nicely) bosses that will hound you from to open to close. Still, a good game at $1.99.
