Google Search Complete Redesign Is What An iPad Browser Should Look Like

Google just announced the release of a new version of their iOS search app and it is faster, sleeker and better designed for mobile searching. Once you try this app, you will never want to use another browser again.Google Search looks almost exactly like the full Web version upon first glance, but when you get into the mechanics of it, you will see that the search engine giant has made use of everything that a touch screen has to offer.
The search engine is designed with touch-screen display in mind. After you have searched, using Google’s Instant feature (when you start typing a word, Google will suggest results before you are even finished), you can select a link to visit. That link will display to the right of your screen and you can swipe from left to right to go back to your search page. This is helpful when you are looking for a certain story and need to reference back to the search engine regularly.
As you are visiting sites, if you find that you want to refer back to your browsing history, it is easy to do so in Google Search. Websites are presented visually. As you scroll through snapshots of each page you have visited by swiping left-to-right, you can select the one you want to revisit with a simple tap. You can even organize your browser history by search term.
Google Images turns your iPad into an immense photography app. Images seem vivid because are displayed in a carousel style. This makes it seem like they are being viewed as a slideshow. The interface is slick and smooth.
Google has also added some features to help you find what you are looking for easier. After you have selected a result, you can highlight the most relevant section of a webpage by taping the magnifying glass icon at the top-right of the page. You can also post a web page to Google Plus by tapping the +1 icon next to the magnifying glass.By taping the features icon, which looks like a box, you will have access to everything Google has to offer to members. You can check your email or calendar, read your RSS feeds, check your Picasso photos, access Google Plus and much more.
Google’s new search app for mobile devices could literally replace the need for any other browser on your iPad.
