Full HD Displays expected on the iPad 3
Do you like this story?
Korea Times, in a very recent article, has claimed that Samsung and LG, which are amongst the biggest LCD Manufacturers across the world, are working closely together with Apple for producing new HD 2048×1536 displays, having an aspect ratio kept at 4:3, for iPad3. This is a huge improvement considering the fact that the current iPad in the market, the iPad2, has got a display of a meagre 1024×768 resolution.
This, therefore, points out to the fact that the display expected on the new iPad (read iPad3) would indeed be full High Definition. It is still not very clear to anyone as to which of these two top LCD Manufacturers would finally get the huge contract signed with Apple. However, some experts are also claiming that as the next iPad is definitely going to have a huge demand, Apple could be thinking of the idea of using both the manufacturers for the job.
The above reported news on the Korea Times does not necessarily mean that the iPad3 is not going to come with the OLED Displays, which has been claimed by certain sources. Some experts however opine that this news is a good development because the OLES screens have not been found to have the same lifespan and quality as compares to the standards, which have been set up by the current LED screens
