Samsung launches DualView camera with Wi-Fi

Samsung has produced other point-and-shoots with Wi-Fi such as the SH100 and ST80, but this is the first time a camera from its DualView lineup is getting the Wi-Fi treatment, the company said on Tuesaday.
Samsung's 16-megapixel DV300F features a 1.5-inch front-facing LCD, a 3-inch rear-facing display, 5x optical zoom and 25mmm wide angle lens. The DV300F is expected to go on sale in March for $200 and comes in black, red, silver, navy, and red.
Picture perfect Wi-Fi
The DV300F doesn't have a Web browser, but Samsung has loaded the camera with several options for uploading images and video directly to online sharing sites including Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube. Users can also send shots via email directly from the camera or use the device's Auto PC Backup function to wirelessly send images from the camera to a computer. The DV300F also integrates with SkyDrive, Microsoft's 25GB of free online storage for all Hotmail and Live.com users.
Handy camera features included in the DV300F include a visual self-timer, child mode to capture members of your household who never stop moving, and a feature that lets you merge three images together. The DV300F also has what might be a gimmicky new feature called Motion Photo that lets users freeze objects in the background while capturing a moving subject in the foreground.
Samsung did not mention whether the new camera will make an appearance during the Consumer Electronics Show, which starts Jan. 10, but chances are it will be there.
