iWatch – A Concept That Could Look Awesome on Your Wrist

It’s finally here! The brilliant and creative mind behind ADR Studio has announced the second version of the never-released iWatch and version 2 is everything we could have hoped for (and more).

Featuring a new slim aluminum chassis design with a PK2 Kevlar insert and bracelet (available in 5 different colors) with polycarbonate inserts the feature list of the iWatch 2 looks a lot like that of the original device. You can expect to enjoy WiFi and Bluetooth, an integrated RSS Reader, 32GB of on-board storage, weather forecast system, possibility to connect with Bluetooth or WiFi to your iPhone and iPad, integrated LCD projector to show everywhere pictures by your iPhone and iPad all with a high resolution front-facing camera.

So maybe it is true that this product isn’t real, but it isn’t that far off. What would it take to evolve the iPod Nano just that little bit further to become the extension of your iPhone and iPad right on your wrist? In fact with iOS 5 a lot of these things are taken care of already (such as the weather forecast system).
Would you wear something like this? It is a handsome looking watch to be sure but may be a little large for most of us ladies, so perhaps the iWatch 3 could include a version for those of us with smaller wrists?
If Apple did make a watch, what kinds of things could they do to make it a real companion to your other iDevices? Offhand I would like to see it as an extension of the notification center so I don’t need to pull my iPhone out of my pocket or purse to see if I have any messages. I am also thinking that if we had iWatches on our wrists we wouldn’t need to have our ringers and notification sounds turned up so loud in order to hear them, and vibration would work like a charm to alert us!
