What's New
Resolved issues with task assignments in time categories.App Description
Taskboard brings powerful team-oriented task management functionality to your fingertips.* Create workspaces for projects you work on.
* Assign people to the workspace to create a team.
* Create and track tasks by timeline, workspace, or assignment.
Workspaces
When you are managing within a workspace, you're looking at tasks related to that workspace -- so you can focus on the goal of that project and avoid distractions. You can quickly see all the tasks in the workspace and focus on performing those tasks or identifying what tasks are missing -- allowing you to stay out front of the project.
Each workspace is assigned a color for its checkboxes. Even if you are looking at task lists that are not organized by workspace, you can easily see their association by the color of their checkbox.
People
In a team environment, you can collect tasks for yourself and for others. Perhaps you need to support your teammate on a task. Within Taskboard, tasks can be assigned to various members of the team. Taskboard supports assigning members to tasks, so you can know who is expected to be leading the task, supporting the task, or just monitoring the task.
Meeting with a team member? Just switch to looking tasks by their name and you can quickly focus on the tasks at hand. Are they in multiple workspaces? No problem, the tasks can be easily distinguished by the color-coded check boxes.
Timeline
In the end, you need to know what works needs to be done today and what you should be working on to meet future deadlines, and allow you to capture work to do in the future with no particular deadline. In Taskboard, you can assign tasks with a Due Date or Start Date, or both.
Tasks that are due, or, overdue, are automatically put into the 'Today' list of tasks. Tasks that are due soon are put in the 'Current' list. Those that you've planned out in the future are put in 'Scheduled' so you can safely ignore them until that time. All the other tasks land in 'Someday', a place you can keep tasks until you get time to tackle them. Not lost, not forgotten.
Within a task list, you can re-order the tasks and even push them into 'Today' or 'Current' lists without assigning specific dates. Simply drag them into the order you want to perform the tasks.
