If you're looking for a fun gadget gift for the iPhone or iPad user in your home, Griffin Technology has an option in the form of an iOS app-controllable flying model helicopter, the HELO TC, that is designed for indoor use and allows pilots to control the device with an app and special controller IR case that fits on the iPhone or iPod Touch. Users can fly the copter via joystick mode or using the accelerometer, but this affordably-priced novelty is not without its limitations.
