New Assassin's Creed Strategy game coming to iPad

We had Revalations, now get ready for Recollection as the Assassin's Creed series makes it's way to the iPad. The game will be a RTS game and will take place during Renassiance Europe (where else). It's quite a stretch from the parkour, sneaking, running and killing kind of gameplay we're used to in the Assassin's Creed series.

While there are very little visual aides to come out of Ubisoft yet, even though they plan for a "Holiday Season 2011" release, they have promised an 8-10 hour campaign with "tactical political battles" and a focus on collecting people, places and material. A resourceful gamer will be able to pick up abilities and skills on the way and apply them to the strategies they need to take down key figures of government as you play along.

The game also will be downloadable with an Ezio animated short known as AC: Embers. Ubisoft have made a clear display of their own tactics stretching it's paws into a very new territory but testing the waters as well. If the game were to be released on a console downloadable platform, people may disregard it, but it's appearance on the Apple iPad, may cause quite a stir with the water cooler around Ubisoft to turn to casual games.
