Best tech Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals in UK and US

Best tech Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals in UK and US. Online, shopping, Black Friday 0

Like it or loath it, Black Friday shopping (traditionally the preserve of our American cousins) has come to the UK - in large part thanks to Amazon and Apple. However, many UK companies tend to focus on the Cyber Monday angle - the Monday following Black Friday.
Black Friday happens on the Friday following Thanksgiving, and sees thousands of people queuing crowding, barging and bashing their way into shops around the US in a bid to get hold of the latest gear. However, you can avoid the shopping horror by staying indoors and carrying out your retail therapy online. Amazon has already started its price cuts (Monday 21) and it'll last up until Friday the 25 November.
Pocket-lint has decided to give a run down of which retailers in the UK are jumping on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday bandwagon, and we'll also be including details of US retailers along the way. The post will be updated regularly as and when we see deals come online, and if you see anything worth shouting about let us know the best in the comments box below.
Here's a few to get you started:

UK Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals

Apple - Always confident about the desirability of its products is keeping quiet on details, but has posted a teaser page. It says: "Mark your calendar now, and come back to the Apple Online Store for the special one-day event. You’ll discover amazing iPad, iPod and Mac gifts for everyone on your list."
Amazon - As mentioned Black Friday has come already and Amazon will be updating its site regularly. This includes Lightning Deals - which is where selected Amazon products will go on sale, super cheap, for limited times. Deals at the moment include a Pure Evoke Flow DAB radio for under £100, £350 off Full HD internet plasma TV, 3D ready with Freeview HD and over 45 per cent off selected Lego.
Currys and PC World - The two outlets are offering its biggest ever online pre-Christmas event.
Offering over a million pounds worth of discounted products, the sale will start at 3pm on Thursday 24 November and continue right through Black Friday until midnight on Cyber Monday 28 November, the biggest online shopping day of the year.
Offers include deals across major brands and product categories, including iPads, Xbox Kinect, Dr Dre Beats headphones, large screen TVs, computing products and gifts - for the whole weekend.
Firebox - Nothing specific, but we have a quote from Ryan Collins, head of buying at Firebox saying: "Firebox has recently launched 'Firebox Deals of the Week' – offering our customers amazing and different discounts every Friday. The response has been incredible, and this week we’ll be launching some of our best discounts yet – head to our site each Friday to see what’s new."

US Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals

Apple - Folks in the US can also shop online for iPads and iPhones starting Friday 25 November.
Griffin Technology - Taking up to 80 pre cent off selected items for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch at the Griffin online website on Cyber Monday (28 November) with a purchase of $19.99 or greater and add a free A-Frame to your order. No code for this one.
The Callet  - It's selling these iPhone and BlackBerry cases for $19.99, but enter the code "Callet 30" and you'll get 30 per cent off.
Grace Digital - There's an offer on at the moment for these Eco Extreme protective cases for you smartphone or MP3 player, use the code "bFriday30" for 30 per cent off.
Best Buy - Hosting a Black Friday Doorbusters event with outdoor movie night to keep you entertained. It looks as though this is US-only. Doors will open 12am Friday 25 November.
