Nomad Brush Releases iPad Paintbrush Just for Kids

Are you looking for something a little different to give the smallest techies in your world this holiday season? Consider the Nomad Play, the first iPad stylus made just for kids.

Just because the Nomad Play is designed for children doesn’t mean it’s short on style or utility. Made of maple, the paintbrush is handcrafted, and scaled to be comfortable for a 3 to 8-year-old child to hold. The brush is designed to give young artists the sense of creating on an iPad, iPhone (or any other touch screen device) without risk of scratching the screen.
The Play comes in four attractive shades, each with its own design on the handle. Astro (blue) features space images, Fireball (red) sports flames, Ivy (green) is covered with dainty carved leaves, and Serengeti (yellow) has a jungle scene carved into the handle.
We loved the Nomad Brush, the Play’s big brother, and would expect the Play to have the same feel and reactivity that made the Nomad Brush such a pleasure to use.
It was children’s love of the grown-up model that helped inspire the creation of the Nomad Play. “Our family loves art and creating art together,” said Don Lee, founder and CEO of Nomad Brush. “When I received a first generation iPad for Father’s Day, I found it to be a great digital sketchbook, and the idea for Nomad Brush was born. We were amazed to discover how quickly our two young sons connected to the experience of digital art creation; since then, we’ve witnessed kids from across the country embrace their parents’ Nomad Brushes.
Parents are definitely going to be tempted to borrow these brushes from their kids. After painting with a Nomad Brush, nobody wants to go back to finger painting.
Buy the Nomad Play directly from Nomad Brush for $18.00.
