Google has a bit of a tradition for doing something special with its doodles on Valentine's day. This year, its the turn of a young boy and his efforts at getting a girl he likes to fancy him back. 
Appearing as a video when you click on the Google logo, the boy initially takes advantage of Google searches to try and get the girl interested. It doesn't work however as she is particularly stubborn.
The conventional chocolates and roses fail, as does just about everything else. He gets there in the end, but we wont explain how. 
Google has been making Valentine's day Doodles since 2000, but this is one of our favourites.
Another rather clever Google Easter egg is the resultant creation should you type this formula into the search engine:
sqrt(cos(x))*cos(300x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(6-x^2), -sqrt(6-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5
Possibly one of the geekiest Valentines cards ever, but still extremely cool all the same.
