From a very large pose directory full of beginner, intermediate and advanced options to the ability to create customized routines, the app is a solid option. And while the lack of narration might hinder the beginner, the rest of the features make up for it.
Currently priced at 80 percent off, All Yoga’s pose images feature a real person. This is very helpful when needing a closer look at some of the more advanced poses. For each step there is a specific image that helps the user move into the pose properly. For instance, the side crane pose, which requires quite a bit of strength, there are four images for a step-by-step look at what it takes to achieve the position. It takes practice.
The beauty of the app is that it allows the user to choose between difficulty levels. And along with all pose images there is a written description that helps those who are unfamiliar with the poses. Most beginners will find that not having narration is quite a problem, especially when in a pose that requires the use of one’s hands. While this is a problem to begin with, once the user goes through the poses a few times they’ll rely on pictures and text descriptions less and less.
