Activision Releases Call of Duty Elite App

We're sure that many of our readers have been devoting much of their non-iOS gaming time to Modern Warfare 3 over the past couple of months. If you're hardcore enough to use the Elite service, you'll be pleased to hear that Activision has just released a free stat-tracking app for iOS called Call of Duty Elite.

While it might not be as exciting as a full-fledged Call of Duty game on iOS, this app does a number of cool things for MW3 addicts, like letting you dissect your various stats and even customize the loadouts on your custom classes from anywhere. Tthe next time you go back to your console to play the game, your new loadouts will be waiting for you.
As a side note, the marketing text Activision uses in iTunes sounds hilariously corporate: "Evaluate your multiplayer progress with in-depth stat analysis. Formulate new strategies based on your recent performance and remotely incorporate edits to your loadouts
