Some Star Wars: The Old Republic copies missing activation keys

Star Wars: The Old Republic's launch hasn't been without issues. The most disruptive of these problems is perhaps the long queue times that gamers must face in order to access some of the game's servers. Those wait times could be even longer, were it not for Electronic Arts failing to include product activation codes in some copies of the game.
As detailed in a 70-plus page thread on The Old Republic's forums, a number of gamers have found that their recently purchased copy of the game lacked a game activation code in the box. It appears as if the majority of those affected by this issue purchased the $150 Collector's Edition of the game, though not all premium-package buyers are missing codes.
EA has responded to the issue on its message boards, stating that those missing a code should email support@swtor.com with specific details of the problem. Gamers should also include a scanned copy of their receipt with their email.
It is unclear what gamers' course of action is should they no longer have their receipt or do not have access to a scanner. EA had not responded to a request for comment as of press time.
