Game of Thrones becomes Game of Consoles in new RPG

The Game of Thrones RPG will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC next year and is being developed by Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio.
George R.R. Martin's fictional history of Westeros has become big news since the HBO series, starring Sean Bean, took the States and the UK by storm earlier this year and the game will give fans the chance to experience the world as Mors; sworn brother of the Night's Watch, and Alester; a Red Priest in search of redemption.
There's 30 hours gameplay promised and the game has been developed on the Unreal Engine 3 and written under the close watch of George R.R. Martin.
"Cyanide realized a truly admirable work on Game of Thrones. The game is faithful to the unique ambiance found in George R.R. Martin's novels," said Cédric Lagarrigue, CEO of Focus Home Interactive. "The narration, the artistic direction, the pace of the game and its realisation make it one of the most exciting role-playing games to come in 2012."
You'll be able to see if Games of Thrones, the RPG, lives up to Lagarrigue's hype when the game hits European shops in early 2012.
