BT hits at the heart of Google, sues for widespread infringement

BT is the latest company in a growing list of litigants that have decided to sue Google, with Microsoft and Apple also suing over the Android OS.
Patents supposedly violated by Google are quite wide ranging, but the pick has to be one that describes technology that relates to a service that uses your location in order to customise a list of options or sources - something that most Google products do in abundance.
This in itself would make this particular lawsuit a pretty big deal compared to to those gone before it and as such you might think this was one that would benefit from some good old-fashioned negotiation.
