Somebody Forgot to Put ‘Little League’ in the Title of the Tablet World Series
Do you like this story?
And … the 2011 Tablet World Champion is … the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet. At least according to the ‘Tablet World Series’ at laptopmag.com. I think they may have forgotten to put the words ‘Little League’ in front of that title.
Looking at the way the playoffs went above is a bit like seeing that the kids from Rhode Island, Wyoming, and Nebraska just eliminated the Phillies, Rangers, and Yankees. The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet? Oh, and the iPad 2 didn’t even make it out of the first round.
Two devices that made it farther than the iPad 2:
– Amazon’s Kindle Fire – great performance. Way to march to victory before actually fielding a team (this tablet is not actually on the market yet).
– The Sony Tablet S. Huh? Is that a real thing?
I guess having sales that even reached six figures is not a requirement in this World Series. Cool idea though. I think I’m going to stage the Winter Masters Golf Tournament in my back yard – with my Labrador edging out the neighbor’s poodle in a playoff to become Winter Masters Champion.
