iPad 3 to include glasses free 3D screen

The latest iPad 3 rumors are suggesting that Apple will include glasses free 3D capabilities into the iPad 3, but we’re not buying it quite yet. We want to provide our readers with all the news we get about the iPad 3, but we also want to make sure they aren’t bogus.
Instead of calling it the iPad 3, Apple could unveil the iPad3D which would be pretty fitting considering it’s the third generation right? Let’s stop for a second though and really think about how many users would want it versus how many would hate it.
The Nintendo 3DS, while was a good idea to appeal to their targeted age group; still fell short of anything spectacular. Other tablets are investing in the technology but it doesn’t seem worth Apples troubles and increased costs. Would you want 3D on your iPad 3?
We might see it included in the future, but our take is that more people would not want it compared to those who would. Here’s a look at where the rumors are stemming from according to a publication from RCR wireless. We’re questioning the credibility of the rumor altogether.
The Source of the Rumor
An anonymous Hollywood Insider stated: The fact that the iPad 3 is 3D is a dead cert. She went on to say that the screen would be the real magic, and that the big film studios were currently running around like blue-arsed flies trying to ready plenty of 3D content before the iPad 3 release date.Apparently this rumor stems from leaks out of the FoxConn factory in China that handles a lot of the manufacturing for Apple. While three employees were recently arrested for leaks, RCR Wireless seems to be the only one with this rumor meaning it may not hold much weight.
Sylvie Barak, editor at RCR stated:
Known to be leakier than a holy bucket, FoxConn- or Hon Hai manufacturing as it’s known in Taiwan has already spilled the 3D iPad beans to several of our close industry sources.We will agree that Apple has looked at the technology because they were recently awarded a three dimensional display system patent, however it doesn’t seem practical versus extra costs at this time.
