The site features products for women, men, kids, home, as well as local services and one-of-a-kind travel packages.Today, the site has partnered with Flipboard to bring its food section, Gilt Taste, to the iPad. Gilt Taste is an online culinary marketplace and interactive magazine, where shoppers can find delicious food and wine from the world’s best artisans. This new feature combines Gilt’s editorial content and online market with Flipboard’s social networking platform for the best possible shopping experience.
Gilt Taste is currently Flipboard’s first venture into the realm of online shopping. Along with product purchasing options, customers will be able to read stories, download recipes, and watch videos. See a product in a video or recipe that you love? Purchasing just requires a few simple taps.
