Create location based reminders on your iPhone.Every wish you could easily set a reminder like:
"Next time I'm at Target, remember to get lightbulbs for the garage."
Or maybe:
"Next time I'm in San Francisco I want to try this restaurant."
Well with Geo Reminders that's exactly what you can do. Using the built in map simply search for the location you want and then add your reminder to it. The next time you are in or near that particular location you receive a notification from your phone with your reminder. It's that simple.
The app does NOT need to be running in order for it to work! Because honestly, that wouldn't really be a reminder now would it.
HOW IT WORKS:
Step 1: Search for a location on the map or use your current location.
Step 2: Select a pin on the map for your desired location.
Step 3: Add a task(s) for that location.
Step 4: The next time you are in that location (yes you must leave first), receive a notification reminding you of your task(s).
Give Geo Reminders a try. You'll love how handy it actually can be.
DISCLAIMER: Geo Reminders is only accurate to about 100 meters. That means you can't use Geo Reminder to find your buried treasure or your car in a parking lot. Also, Geo Reminders works best in locations with good cell reception. Basically, if you can't find where you are on the map, then it's not going to be able to notify you when you enter a particular location. Lastly, continued use of GPS may decrease your battery power.
