For Your Listening Pleasure, Two New AirPlay Enabled Speakers-Coming Soon

As the holiday shopping season approaches, we at PadGadget love to find new iOS-related gadgets for you to stuff under your tree. Check out these upcoming AirPlay enabled speakers that will hopefully be on virtual shelves before Christmas.
Bang & Olufsen, makers of high-class audio and video equipment, have just been approved by the FCC for a new model of AirPlay enabled portable speakers. Fashioned after a vintage-style picnic basket, this go-anywhere speaker system is sure to win the heart of your indie rock girlfriend
According to iLounge, the speakers include a USB port, a 3.5mm input, an Ethernet port, and what appears to be a leather carrying strap. I can think of a dozen record-collecting, scarf wearing, bicycle-riding friends that will want to get their hands on these adorable speakers. Since they have only just been approved by the FCC, there is no information as to what they will cost or how soon they will be market-ready, hopefully in time for the holiday shopping season. They will go great with that 1950s full skirt I got last week.
Gear4 goes the complete opposite with their newest AirPlay enabled speaker system. The AirZone Series 1 has a stylish metal design and high-gloss finish, giving it a futuristic quality that any tech geek will drool over. According to Gear4, the speakers have built-in Wi-Fi, a front-mounted dock for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod, an FM radio, an auxiliary input, and an included remote control. I can think of a dozen Steam account-owning, self-made computer-using, sports car-driving friends that will get a tickle in their belly when they see these sleek speakers. They are scheduled to be released in the U.S. later this month and will set you back $299. The AirZone Series 1 will compliment my Apple TV, iMac, iPod, iPad, and iPhone motif just right.
