iPad 3 and iPhone 5 to be delayed?
If you haven’t heard yet, there was a tragic explosion that occurred at Foxconn’s iPad production plant in China. Our sympathy goes out to the families of the deceased, and those who were injured which is the most important part.According to the news published, the explosion occurred in building A5, which is said to house and support iPad 2 production.
This particular plant opened up last year in response to buffer the increased demand for iPad production. Foxconn is a major manufacturer for Apple’s devices, and immediately questioned was whether or not the iPad 3 or iPhone 5 would see a delay because of it.
Not only because of the immediate loss suffered, but because of increasing death tolls in component vendors factories. We strongly believe that Apple has no shortage of measures in place regarding safety guidelines for the production of their products, and that this was truly an unforeseen tragedy.
The Announcement That Sparked Delay Questions:
Related iPhone devices and new iPad products were affected, is where initial concerns stemmed from which led to questions regarding the iPad 3. The iPad 2 has already suffered shortages and long waiting times on shipments so there was reason for alarm.Fans can rest assured now that Foxconn has recently confirmed that they will be back up and running at full capacity. Sources have re-affirmed concerns by stating that the explosion did not immediately affect the assembly line or the iPad.
Don’t worry Apple enthusiasts, it looks like a September early 2012 iPad 3 release date are still currently on track.
