If raccoons are able to knock down garbage cans and spread trash around the yard in the middle of the night without waking up the whole neighborhood, it’s clear that they have some ninja skills and Dojo Madness only confirms this fact. This game has players controlling a raccoon with some serious kung-fu chops in an attempt to survive as long as possible against a 360 degree onslaught of enemy fighters. Dojo Madness has simple tap controls, well rounded gameplay, and gorgeous graphics. However, some of the game’s finer combat mechanics take more than one finger to execute and are consequently a bit cumbersome.
This game is free, though it is ad supported. Between each wave of enemies survived in the dojo, the game pauses for twenty seconds, forcing the user to wait and look at ads before continuing to the next wave. This can be very intrusive and take the player completely out of the experience. Ads can be removed via in-app purchase for $0.99 which also goes towards saving real life ninja raccoons all over the world. It’s possible to enjoy the game with ads, but it’s not too much to remove them and it also supports a environmental cause as well. Dojo Madness has so much going for it that players should certainly give it a try for free and consider purchasing the ad-free version if they like it.
