Tomb Slider Review
Do you like this story?
Tomb Slider offers a classic form of puzzling: it’s a sliding game. Players have to clear a path for the hero by moving the rocks that block the exit. The rocks can’t slide through each other so it’s a frequently clever route that must be figured out by the player. Early stages might only take a few moves to complete but later levels can get pretty complex with up to 20 or so moves required. Supplied with each level is a par time along with an ideal number of moves to complete that level. How well the player keeps to these guidelines affects the number of stars that can be gained which in turn unlock new levels and hints to be used when stuck.
Offering 360 levels, there’s a lot to Tomb Slider but the variety stops very early on. Each level is the same as the last in terms of manipulations. It’s just that things get progressively more complex. That’s not a bad thing by any means but it does mean that Tomb Slider can become a little repetitive if played for great lengths of time. As a game to play in short bursts, it’s ideal though and satisfying to achieve a lot in a short amount of time. Tomb Slider won’t revolutionise but it will entertain and for a long time thanks to the plentiful supply of levels
