This is an original 2009 iPhone game that has been adapted for iPad exclusively. If you have played it on iPhone, forget it. Any ideas you have about it should be thrown out the door. Toki Tori HD is a whole new ball game with great graphics, 80 levels, a good interface that works perfectly with the larger screen.
The story opens with a yellow bird who needs to collect eggs to level up. He gets a different set of tools in every level which is pretty cool because of the element of surprise. There will be bad guys and nifty ladders that the bird can use to move up, but you will need to work your brain to figure out how to use the items given to you. You can even rewind if you feel your strategy isn?
