Have you seen the Sean Connery thriller/suspense movie, Hunt for Red October? This is only similar because it takes place under water, and uses a submarine. The sub is manned by a foreigner, but in this case, instead of Russians, you have Germans.
The Silent Hunter is basically a war game under water. You have to stalk your enemies or hunt them down. Once you find them, you will need to capture them to upgrade. You will also have allies that need help. As the hunter, tables could turn, and you could be the one hunted down, so there will be other subs to avoid. It can be as thrilling as the movie, but the objective is not to escape, but to win the war. Highly recommended at $4.99.
