From Spearhead Entertainment, we get this hack-n-slash game, Mana Chronicles. Originally created for the iPhone, it is compatible with iPad. You play the role of Fratley who has to tame Leon to move ahead. Your mission is to stop the Inferno troops from annihilating the world.
You are given a world map, mini missions, loot to find, super powers, and a tricky level up feature. It has a good soundtrack, and the controls are easy to master, but can be a bit sticky at times. Travel to 3 different places and fight your ways through a variety of hurdles in every place. Look for the treasure chests to add to your arsenal of weapons, and if you defeat an enemy, you transform. A good buy at 2.99 since you get a lot of replay action and thrilling fights, although the controls could use a bit of tweaking.
