iPad 3 Prototype & Apple Leaks Leads To Three Arrests
In case you haven’t seen one of the only prototypes circulating the web about a possible iPad 3 design, we thought we’d share it with our readers. The photo showcases an edge to edge screen, and a repositioned home button on the display. This definitely isn’t a confirmed prototype and certainly goes against the news we published about the iPad 3 smart bezel patent. However, it certainly shows a thinner and interesting take on a future design that the iPad tablets may adopt at some point.
Would you rather see an iPad 3 like this, or one with the incorporation of a smart bezel?

In other news, three employees at Foxconn (electronics manufacturer) have been arrested and charged for leaking design information pertaining to the iPad 2. iPad 2 cases were being manufactured by outside parties, which fueled news about the iPad 2′s design, months before its actual release.
The cases depicted the changes Apple had made, including the front and rear camera inclusion.During CES in January an individual was walking around with an iPad 2 shell that actually turned out to be an almost exact replica when the iPad 2 was released this march. Also noted at CES was someone carrying an iPad 2 case that also proved to be extremely similar to Apple’s iPad 2 on the official release date.
Much of the news we do get before a products release is from leaks just like this one, and it seems this time they have been punished for their deed. You may also remember the prototype for the iPhone 4 which was accidentally left in a bar. The prototype was later sold to a technology review site and its photos and news were released to the public.
We’ll keep you updated when we receive more prototype photos of the iPad 3 and want to hear your feedback on the design above!
