iPad 3 News: Apple’s Recent Actions

We’d like to focus on some actions that Apple has done recently that have us questioning their plans overall, and for the recent iPad 3 rumors.  Although they are habitual in nature with the expected iPad 2 release in March (spring) they did throw many people off with the unveiling of the Verizon iPhone.
iPhone’s are typically a summer launch if we want to follow their systematic releases.  It begs the question however; whether or not they are moving away from being predictable or if we are only getting ahead of ourselves.
We keep pondering why Apple would have released the iPad 2 with so little production completed; clearly losing out on sales while the masses waited in line eagerly for their chance to claim the newest generation iPad, only to be left disappointed!  This is true especially for those who ordered online the day of the release; with no word on when their iPad 2 will arrive as of yet.
Nobody likes waiting for something, especially a hot technology item like an iPad!
Either their preliminary predictions were off by the millions, or they have other notions going on in the background that is taking up just as much of their time and efforts.  Why was there so much hype when something wasn’t ready for release not only for functional reasons but for quantity available as well?
It’s rather peculiar that Apple would rush this (or any) release just to stay on track of their predictable release dates.  It seems that Apple has carefully implemented their release dates from the get-go to cater to holidays and high spending times; but do they have something else up their sleeve?
If rumors are correct about the iPad 3 well it is certainly plausible that they had to rush the iPad 2 out the door in order to make time to release the iPad 3 for the 2011 holiday season.  This would throw them off of their current trend of a new iPad every year, and might very well anger fans whos iPad 2 would be revamped within 6 months time.
Will Apple be heading into a  2011 release date for the iPad 3 which will obviously generate huge sales come time for the holidays; or will they continue to ramp up production of the iPad 2 in order to satisfy current back orders and future purchases hoping that the hype will still be large enough come time for the holiday season.
We don’t think they are too worried regardless since they are sitting comfortably at the top for tablets right now with virtually no competition from others on the market.
