iOS 5 To Be Announced & Then Released On The iPad 3 Come Fall?
It seems amongst recent reports that Apple will be delaying the release of iOS 5 until the fall.Originally thought to be released on the iPhone 5 come summer; the only hope now is for Steve Jobs to do a demo of iOS5 when he unveils the iPhone 5.
If this is the case, we would love to see Apple preload the iPad 3 with iOS5; with its rumored release in fall as well! However, seeing how Apple is choosing to switch things up a lot lately; they really have us on our toes and guessing.
Usually so concrete in their ways, Apple may shift to being less predictive in the future.Apple traditionally has a rhythm with their product releases, and we’ve seen the same amongst the iOS upgrades as well. Apple has routinely released the latest iOS on the newly released iPhone; which typically launches in the summer.
If it is true that iOS5 will not make it onto the iPhone 5, then that clearly means that they will be changing yet another one of their predictable release dates.
Maybe they are under time constraints and product complications once again; or maybe they are making a transition altogether. Only time will tell.
How can they ramp up the iOS 5 and the hype surrounding it with a new product? Well we think it would coincide perfectly with an announcement in summer, and then a release on the iPad 3 come fall.
